As an art director and designer, Mark Kruger has a dynamic combination of skills that include graphic design, architecture and electronic media. What makes him unique is his ability to integrate his creative abilities with a deep knowledge of brand strategy, marketing communications and popular culture.
Since 2000, Mark has been developing branded messaging content and identity systems in the corporate and B2B meeting space. Working as creative director, art director, or designer, he has developed print, Flash and video based content that successfully integrates strategic marketing goals with corporate graphic standards and diverse technical requirements. Recent clients have included Mack Truck, Motorola, Verizon, Amgen, Lexus and Eli Lilly.
Mark received his A.B. in design at Stanford University and a Masters degree in Architecture from UCLA. He then worked at Hodgetts + Fung, an architecture firm in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for design and implementation of projects for a variety of clients including Walt Disney Imagineering, Madison Square Garden, and Microsoft. Later, as creative director at marketing consultancy Fig. 1, Mark developed comprehensive brand explorations and merchandising programs for clients that included Paramount Pictures, Disney, Universal Studios, and the State of California. Following a successful brand evaluation for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Mark was invited to join the MGM Consumer Products Division as V.P. of Creative Services. He played a vital role in building the MGM Brand Program, as well as overseeing all product development creative for movie and television properties.
